Our Father said: SEE, I have given you every plant that yields SEED which is on the face of all the earth and every tree whose fruit yields SEED, to you it is for FOOD."
The BESORAH , BERESHITH ~ GENESIS 1:29 Page 44

The NEEM tree is an evergreen, native to India, which grows up to 60 ft. high. It is found in the tropical dry deciduous and thorny forests and drier parts of the country.

The NEEM tree is extremely hardy but cannot tolerate extreme cold and frost. It can grow in most soils but too much rainfall and standing water can result in a poor harvest.

Literally, every part of the NEEM tree – the bark, leaves, flowers, seeds, has a use. In agriculture, healing and medicine, for humans and animals alike. Since it is the fruits, leaves and pruned branches that are used, it is a tree of renewable resources that also pays an important part in reforestation and wasteland restoration programs. These NEEM SEEDS are from fresh harvest and will give good germination results up to 75 % . Please share with us your experience and the outcome of your gardening technique.

How to grow a Neem tree from a seed:

Fill small flowerpot with potting soil. Water well and bury the seed just about under the upper layer of soil. Place flowerpot in sunny area and watch it grow! Water it around the seed only when soil is dry.

A Neem tree loves the sun and dislikes too much water and the cold. Therefore, leave plant outside for the summer, but bring it in for the winter months. In the early spring it will shed most of its leaves. But no worries- they will all come back once the days warm up again. Water moderately.

Cultivation: Pot the seedlings, once they are large enough and move into bigger pots as are needed. NEEM responds fairly well to being trimmed and can be grown in a small pot for some years in a heated house. Prune large plants in spring, and lightly prune again later, if necessary. Water plants well in the growing season and feed using a general liquid feed.
